Where Ansarada is stronger
Reasons to keep it, and reasons a firm bought Ansarada in the first place.
- The redaction is genuine. Bulk AI redaction across large document volumes, which is more than almost any storage or DMS vendor offers. If your work lives inside a deal, this is a real capability and not a checkbox.
- Built for the transaction. Q&A workflows, bidder tracking, deal readiness scoring and stage management. A room that understands it is a deal, not a folder with permissions.
- Serious access control. Role-based permissions, customisable watermarks, save and print controls, and the ability to revoke a file after it has been downloaded.
- The audit trail is deep. Per-document, per-user activity across the life of the room, which is exactly what a diligence process wants when someone asks who saw what.
What DataGuard does not do
Scope, not a roadmap. If you need these, you need them from something else.
- Run your deal room. There is no DataGuard data room, no Q&A module and no bidder management. If you run transactions in Ansarada, keep it.
- Store your files. DataGuard reads each file where it already sits. It keeps the record of what it did, not the file.
- Catch everything, every time. No detection is perfect, which is why a person clears each flagged item and why the check is a second pair of eyes rather than a replacement for the first.
- Become your system of record. Nothing held in DataGuard is authoritative, so there is nothing to migrate in and nothing to migrate back out.

Third-party listings have historically shown Ansarada entry pricing around $399 a month for a small, short room, but Ansarada's own site no longer publishes rates, so treat any figure you find as indicative and get a quote.
